Paralia is 8 km from the town of Katerini in Central Macedonia, Greece. In the beginning it was a fishing village, but in the 1980s it was discovered by tourists and turned into a holiday village. From the 1990s Paralia become on of the most popular place in Pieria. Nowadays there are many luxury hotels and beach complexes with fine dining and nightlife.
